Public Hearing Notice for Thursday October 6 for Restore Grant
On Thursday November 6 at 5:30 PM, the Village of Homer is having a public hearing on applying for a restore grant regarding the property known as the Circus House. The meeting will take place at the Board room at 31 North Main Street, as well as a satellite site located at 145 Kasson Drive, Cayuga Lake, NY 12032. Individuals can attend the meeting in person at either location or watch the meeting on the Village of Homer’s You-tube page. No Parking EV Charging Stations
Hello Homer community! The Village of Homer is providing notice that the vehicle charging stations will be unavailable from 6 AM Saturday August 20 until Monday at 6 AM August 22 for lot resealing. Cars parked overnight must be removed by 6 AM Saturday. The lot will reopen Monday at 6 AM. Please plan alternate places to charge any vehicles during this time period. Please feel free to call the Village Offices at 607-749-3322.

Community Organizations On Site of National Night Out
Greetings Homer community! This is a reminder for our event tomorrow, National Night Out at the Village Green! We will all be joined by community organizations and health agencies, listed below in the flyers. Hope to see you there!
Car Seat & Bike Safety Appointments
Bike safety helmet checks and child car seat checks will be available during National Night Out. Both tables will be located near the Homer fire department. For child car seat checks appointments are requested. Please call 607-758-5509.
Scavenger Hunt Rules and Clues
Greetings! Attached is contains the National Night Out Scavenger Hunt directions and clues for use in your own hunt. Have fun and good luck!
Sign-Up for Our Corn Hole Tournament!
Sign up for the Corn Hole Tournament, which takes place during National Night Out on August 2. The competition will begin at 6 PM on Main Street by the green. Cost is $20 per two-man team. Registrations can be emailed ahead to tdigennaro@homerny.org or at Village table on the green by 5:45 PM August 2 in person. Registrations can also be dropped off at the Village Office. Any emailed entries- fees can be collected on site or at the Village Office at 31 North Main Street, Homer, NY. Proceeds will be split evenly between the winning team and Special Olympics. Please call the Village Offices at 607-749-3322.

Attached is a prelude to the Scavenger Hunt opening July 25. Answer the questions, take selfies at some , and find answers to the bonus questions. Entries will be received through the close of the day July 30 for a chance to be Chief at National Night Out, win $100 in Village of Homer Business gift cards, a chance to take pictures with first responders, begin competitions, ride in the police car, and receive a Homer Fire Department and Village Hat. Entries are open to all ages. Parent consent to required for underage winner/winners.
