On Thursday November 6 at 5:30 PM, the Village of Homer is having a public hearing on applying for a restore grant regarding the property known as the Circus House. The meeting will take place at the Board room at 31 North Main Street, as well as a satellite site located at 145 Kasson Drive, Cayuga Lake, NY 12032. Individuals can attend the meeting in person at either location or watch the meeting on the Village of Homer’s You-tube page. Hello Homer community! The Village of Homer is providing notice that the vehicle charging stations will be unavailable from 6 AM Saturday August 20 until Monday at 6 AM August 22 for lot resealing. Cars parked overnight must be removed by 6 AM Saturday. The lot will reopen Monday at 6 AM. Please plan alternate places to charge any vehicles during this time period. Bike safety helmet checks and child car seat checks will be available during National Night Out. Both tables will be located near the Homer fire department. For child car seat checks appointments are requested. Please call 607-758-5509.

Sign up for the Corn Hole Tournament, which takes place during National Night Out on August 2. The competition will begin at 6 PM on Main Street by the green. Cost is $20 per two-man team. Registrations can be emailed ahead to tdigennaro@homerny.org or at Village table on the green by 5:45 PM August 2 in person. Registrations can also be dropped off at the Village Office. Any emailed entries- fees can be collected on site or at the Village Office at 31 North Main Street, Homer, NY. Proceeds will be split evenly between the winning team and Special Olympics.
